The History Playback feature allows users to view a complete record of where a vehicle has been and when. Every movement, stop, and route is stored securely on our servers for up to 90 days, giving you full access to historical data whenever you need it. View trips by date, analyze stop locations, or replay an entire day’s journey on a live, interactive map.

How to Use History Playback

‍

Option 1 — From the GPS Device List:

1. Navigate to the GPS Devices page.
2. Select the device you want to review from the left-hand column.
3. Click the History action button at the top of the page.
4. The system will download the history data from our servers (this may take a few moments).
5. Once loaded, use the pop-up menu to:
   • Select a specific month and day to view the trip.
   • View a map showing all stops and routes for that date.
   • Click Play to watch the vehicle’s movement throughout the day.
   • Download detailed stop reports for 1–30 days of history.

Option 2 — From the LocateLive Page:

1. After locating a vehicle, open the Map Settings panel.
2. Toggle the History switch to “On.”
3. Instantly view the vehicle’s route for the last 24 hours directly on the map—no download required.
